Angie's Ramblings April30, 2008 I just listed new sets and focals on Etsy. I'm really liking the way the new focals turned out. Seems like I have been doing more digging in the dirt than torching lately though. Must be spring fever or something. :o) I have a few more flower orders in transit and once they are planted, I'll be able to slack off on the outside work. (Except for the mowing of course! We just fertilized and reseeded the lawn and it is growing like crazy. Ugh!) Hope all is well with you... April 18th, 2008 I thought I was dreaming when I woke up at 4:30 this morning and my house was shaking and everything was rattling. Apparently, I wasn't. I was feeling the 5.4 earthquake...no wonder my insurance company sent me a letter last year saying they were no longer covering us for earthquake damage. They must have known one was coming. There is no damage here and hopefully none to speak of anywhere else, but it does make me think that I should be looking for other homeowners insurance! I have an electroformed focal to show you all just as soon as I get the patina on it and photograph it. I think I might head to the local nursery to see what they have today too. Talk to you soon! April 13th, 2008 Just listed a couple of new focal beads on Etsy. I had an earring pair for you too, but they sold before I could tell you about them. We spent most of the weekend at the ball field and the wind was horrible. By the time it was over I was actually shivering...I felt so sorry for all the little ones on the field. My son has another game Tuesday night and I am praying that it is warmer and less windy by then. I'm also praying that he hits the ball. LOL! |
