If you have been wondering where I've been, I've been staying with my father in the hospital night and day. He made his peace yesterday morning and now I don't have to worry about his suffering anymore. I'll post a longer update about it a few days from now. Right now I am numb and I think that's a good thing. Love to you all....

It seems like I ate more in the last couple of days than I normally do in weeks. The food was wonderful and the company was even better. I saw my darling step-brother for the first time in ages. His little girl is the cutest...she played with my kiddos for hours. We also seem to have aquired a puppy over the holidays so, without further ado, let me introduce you to Alex!
